 Jillian Douglas is a Toronto-based designer who was introduced to the profession through her mother, a successful designer for over 4 decades in her own right. Bred with an acute sense for professional but playful design, Jillian finds the perfect junction between her awareness for functionality and her taste for elegance to produce her most livable spaces. Drawing on her diverse network, her relaxed but executive process makes her a joy to work with and an efficient producer of results. Her client-centred approach delivers unique designs for each individual or family whether it’s new construction, renovation, or purely decorative efforts. Jillian employs a contemporary notion to bring a certain buoyant life to her spaces. She follows a timeless style leaving you loving where you live. 

Olivia Douglas brings a refined and fresh perspective to JDD—rooted in legacy and driven by innovation. Design is in Olivia’s blood. As the third generation of women in her family to pursue a career in design, she grew up immersed in the industry, joining her mother Jillian on job sites from a young age. With a degree in Art History from Queen’s University and early experiences with co-op placements, Olivia brings both academic and hands-on training to her role. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for traditional design, while her curiosity and contemporary sensibility introduce fresh ideas and concepts into each project. Olivia’s thoughtful approach and passion for timeless yet forward-thinking design make her a valued member of the JDD team—and a trusted collaborator for clients seeking sophisticated, personalized spaces.

Patricia, an architecture student at Far Eastern University Philippines, brings a dynamic ingredient to the team. Her niche understanding of material design through her studies in architecture, and her skills in decorative arts from her education as an Interior Design Technologist, make for a well informed professional practice. She provides a proficient understanding of design coupled with a tender and attentive approach to her customers. Her experience as a Kitchen and Bath Designer and a Graphic Designer attest to her expertise in hard skills like creating 3D models and renderings. With five plus years in customer service her soft skills are of equal prowess. She is passionate and has a unique attention to detail. 

Zazz’s fascination with the creative profession began with a Fashion Merchandising degree from The Fashion Institute. With a sharp eye for detail, her approach is clean, crisp, and highly adaptable, always ensuring that even the smallest attribute is accounted for. Her diverse experience spans event planning, styling, design sourcing, staging, project management, photography and custom planter design. A lover of all things design, Zazz brings warmth and personality to every client interaction, allowing relationships to flourish naturally. Her enthusiasm, combined with her passion for education and adventure, makes her a dynamic creative force and a strong team player. Zazz is also an integral part of the JDD & Co store, where she can help with anything retail-related. With a design education spanning India, Dubai, and Canada, Musskan brings a sophisticated global perspective and a refined aesthetic to her work.  Her diverse background informs an approach that blends cultural nuance with modern sensibility. Known for her keen eye for styling and spatial composition, Musskan also offers strong technical skills in 3D modeling and rendering—helping clients visualize their spaces with clarity and confidence.  With over two years of experience in high-end residential and commercial design, she delivers thoughtful, detail-oriented solutions tailored to each client’s unique vision.  Calm, professional, and committed to excellence, Musskan is a trusted and valued member of the JDD team.

Her vibrant energy and effortlessly cool vibe make her a magnetic presence, and she has a remarkable ability to connect with people on a genuine level. Summer brings a fresh, thoughtful perspective to every project she touches, infusing her work with both intention and ease. Clarke Douglas is the Chief Operating Officer at Jillian Douglas Design, where his strategic mindset and creative spirit help drive the company forward.

With over 30 years of experience in the apparel industry, Clarke built and revitalized multiple brands, blending operational expertise with a sharp creative instinct. His career has been defined by an ability to scale businesses while staying true to their vision and values. In 2020, Clarke brought his wealth of knowledge to JDD, joining forces with his wife, Jillian. Since then, he has played a key role in elevating the company to new heights—overseeing growth, streamlining operations, and supporting the launch of new initiatives, including the opening of JDD & Co. A naturally artistic thinker with a passion for design, Clarke brings both structure and innovation to the team—ensuring that JDD runs with excellence behind the scenes, so the creative work can shine at the forefront.

At 15 years young, Largo is the most senior (and arguably wisest) member of the team. A seasoned professional in lounging, sunspot chasing, and strategic snack detection, Largo brings a calming presence to even the busiest workdays. He’s known for his slow-but-purposeful strut through the studio, his unmatched ability to find the coziest spot in any room, and his gentle, soulful eyes that seem to say, "You're doing great, sweetie."

Largo may not answer emails or join meetings (unless treats are involved), but his loyalty, charm, and comforting snuggles are a daily reminder of what really matters: staying grounded, staying kind, and always making time for a good nap.
